Ask your opthamologist.
I don’t know about surgeries OTHER than Lasik, but I’m sure it should all be the same: You need to be at an age where your eyes are no longer changing. And by changing, I don’t mean prescription wise, I mean they’re not still morphing or growing or changing shape. Because that makes it easier for your vision to go back to the way it was extremely soon after surgery.
The age will be different for everyone. My doctor told me I can get Lasik when I’m twenty-four. My best friend got it when he was twenty-seven. And my math teacher got Lasik at thirty. So I’m guessing the age range is in the twenties.
But make sure to ask your doc for YOUR exact age!

Most doctors performed Lasik on patient once they are 18 years or older. The reason why they don’t want patients younger that 18 to get surgery is due to them still growing.
