What Homeopathic remedy is good for eye surgery?
sheila asked:
My mother in law just had laser eye surgery and I wonder if I have anything in my not-medicine chest that might help her. How about Arnica or Silica?
Any suggestions?
Thanks for the answers so far, but I am not going to put anything in the eyes, nor am I looking to use herbs. I’m just wondering about homeopathy. Arnica and Silica are good for many things, not just the most popular uses.
Thanks!

My suggestion is to never ever put anything in the eyes not made for eyes. Any otc prep. must be totally sterile or your mother in law can go totally blind from them. Have her consult an eye doctor as what to do. People have gone totally blind from putting crap in their eyes.

Well, there are several natural products that are good for eye health and might help speed recovery (obviously when taken internally, not put into the eyes). Some of the most popular and beneficial products would be Lutein, Bilberry, Zeaxanthin, Eyebright, Vitamin A, and most antioxidants.
Arnica is mostly for bruised skin and helping with circulation and Silica is mostly for hair, skin, and nail health. Neither directly helps the eyes much at all.
