What are the limitations of Lasik?

I have very poor vision and a very bad astigmatism. I seem to remember my optician telling me that it would not be a good candidate for Lasik? Can someone tell me why?

I am not sure as to why. The chances of you getting lasik when your eyes get pass -8 decreases. Though, I have read stories of people with -9 with bad astigmatism getting successful Lasik surgery.

I’ve had Lasik done. My eyes were both at -7 with mild to moderate astigmatism. I now see 20/20.

There are Lasik places that will check your eyes for free to see if you are eligible. I went to Lasik Plus. Do A LOT of research on your doctor. Go to the usaeyes website. It is a non-profit website that helps people decide if lasik is right for them.
