Eye Procedure

My daughter is two. She has had a lazy eye since around 6 months old. She sees an Eye Specialist normally. At her last appointment he mentioned surgery if it didn’t fix itself by her next appointment. Well her next appointment is next week. I am wondering if the surgery is gonna work. I have read several patients have to have 3 or 4 surgeries and the problem still doesn’t go away. My daughter is so young and I don’t want her to go through all of that if it is not going to work. Has anyone else had the surgery and has it worked?

I had lasik vision correction 3 weeks ago. I had to go & buy reading glasses to see far & near. Some days I don’t even need them but 4 out of 5 times I need them by the end of each day & my eyes are exhausted. The surgeon has done 10’s of thousands of the surgeries & has a 0% re-do rate. He has done a family members eyes with no issues. has anyone else had issues? I can’t imagine going through this surgery & still having bad vision.
oh & do you think it will hurt for me to be wearing the glasses while my eyes are healing?

I have wanted to get eye surgery. I am over 21, my eyes were well my entire life, and when I was like 11, I needed glasses. I have wanted eye surgery then. I always held myself back because I thought that they might remove my eyes, just randomly poke it and do painful stuff. I heard that one of the surgeries involve a knife.

I have 20/20 vision in one eye, and the other is nearly perfect after two LASIK surgeries in it.

ok first of all let me say i’m nearsighted. like really really really nearsighted. i have really bad eyes. now i was wondering whats the youngest age i can be to get eye surgery? i’ve heard of lasik but are there any other surgeries??

the eye surgery institute just purchased a new laer machine for $500,000 to use during eye surgery. the institue must pay the iventor $550 each time the machine is used . if the institute charges $2,000for each laser surgery, what is the minimum number of surgeries that must be performed in order for the institute to make a profit ?

I have my mother’s degrading eyesight. My eyesight is still degrading until I’m 20 or so but right now. I’m 16 and my eyesight right now is left 20/345 Right 20/320. So what is the best as in what happens after Lasik or the other surgeries?
