I haven’t had lasik and don’t wear glasses but my eyesight is poor.Anyway, can they tell if you had lasik by checking your eyes or do they check your record? Wait, does it go on your record that you had Lasik?

G asked: I have just began thinking about the possibility of LASIK. I’ve been told I need “moderate” vision correction. My eyes are identical with spheres of 3.50 and cylinders of -1.00. How does LASIK compare to glasses/contact for getting the best eyesight? Is it a lot more precise? A lot less? About the same? I’m interested in any info at all. Thank you!

Although my vision has improved in the eye, it looks like Im in a room filled with smoke. Everything seems clear, but very hazy. They said my vision was supposed to be good in 48 hours, and its been that long. Does this go away, because maybe I was better with contacts. Did I screw myself?

MaseyGrace 6/28/08 asked: I am having the “bladeless” lasik done in two weeks. They will use little bubbles to lift and create the flap on my eye to do the lasik instead of using the blade. Has anyone had this done? What was it like for you? How did you feel afterwards? Would you recommend it? My vision is 20/400 in both eyes, so I am looking forward to it, but nervous at the same time. Any opinions?
