I’m looking to get laser eye surgery because my eyes are bad and I’m sick of glasses. When I lose them I need I need them to find them. Also I think it will be for the best and plus many people say i look better without them anyway. My benefits will only cover $225 of it. So I was wondering how much is it so I know what I’m looking to spend.

My aunt has melanoma of the eye and tomorrow shes going in to get the laser surgery done.
How long does it take and the recovery?
Will she be able to go home that same day? Or stay over a night?

When I mean eye correcting surgery, I’m talking about things like laser eye surgery that fix your vision. I mean, I think laser eye surgery works by slicing tiny pieces of the cornea in order to change the shape of the lens into a shape that correctly reflects the light. But how would the surgeon know how much to cut off? Also, if your eyes can degrade to the point at which you become legally blind, then how come legally blind people don’t get vision correcting surgery?

I had lasik vision correction 3 weeks ago. I had to go & buy reading glasses to see far & near. Some days I don’t even need them but 4 out of 5 times I need them by the end of each day & my eyes are exhausted. The surgeon has done 10’s of thousands of the surgeries & has a 0% re-do rate. He has done a family members eyes with no issues. has anyone else had issues? I can’t imagine going through this surgery & still having bad vision.
oh & do you think it will hurt for me to be wearing the glasses while my eyes are healing?

Hey I’m considering laser eye surgery my prescription is -5.0 in both eyes. I wonderd if it was able to have the surgery to make me say +0.50 after surgery, to allow for any deterioration in my eye sight in later years as I am 22. Thanks for any advice.
