i have congenital ptosis in my left eye and surgery is very expensive and i only want it for cosmetic purposes, so my parents won’t pay for it. it does obstruct my vision but not detrimentally. could i get the insurance to cover it? or can i use a non-surgical method?

I dont have any insurance and I am in need of surgery. I cant work because I take care of my parents and the only way I know to have this surgery is to spend time with a guy for money. Please dont write me mean things and tell me this is prostitution. I have searched and there is no charities that can help me with this problem. If anyone knows another way I could make this happen please tell me because I dont want to do it this way but I seem to have no choice. The surgery I need to have is eye surgery.

My boyfriend has what you call a Karaconus, where his cornea is getting small. He needs to get a surgery and we’ve tried to get help thru medical but they’ve rejected him because they dont cover that, and the ridiculous thing about it is they consider getting an eye surgery as a privilege, anyways, we tried getting him insurance and they rejected him too. So, is there anyone out there that knows any program that can help….Thank you!

In Canada, does anyone know what the deal is on corrective eye surgery, as in: do most company benefit plans cover it? Or do many insurance companies cover it? Or vice versa?
