Crazy Legs asked: I am farsighted and it’s a severe case. My glasses prescription is plus 5. My eye doctor told me not to get laser surgery because my case was so severe. I’ve heard laser surgery is not that good for people with farsightedness. Is this true/will this change in the future?

the king asked: I originally had the procedure performed in 1999, and a re correction about 2 years later on my left eye. Now my vision has reverted back to being almost as bad as it was before the surgery, and I wear glasses for nearsighted. Can I have the Lasik again?

мαgιc asked: Well, I hate having glasses. And I know a lot of you might say “Get Contacts!” Well I don’t trust them, and really.. I just want to correct my eyes. Because I hate having glasses! I have glasses for distance which means I have to wear them a lot. And I just want to know how to correct them without Eye Surgery (I am not a dumb blonde just to tell you).

Tom asked: I really want to get laser eye surgery. I am tired of having to wear glasses and contact lenses. 1) contact lenses don’t give me crystal clear eyesight - there is still unclear sight 6.50+ in each eyes. 2) glasses give me perfect eyesight - but i don’t want to wear them all my life. I need some advice on whether i can get laser eye surgery with a squint. I read somewhere that i can’t but i want to no whether there is still a chance.

DarkHippo asked: Hey there I’m 20 years old and my eyes have sucked since the 7th grade. I have not had them checked since then either and I really have no idea where my vision stands today. All I do know is that I live in a very blurry world and as each day progresses I get more and more frustrated. I want to see clear, but not looking for contacts or glasses. Should I get the surgery now to fix my vision permanently? Or am I still too young to consider this option?
