Eye Procedure

My daughter is two. She has had a lazy eye since around 6 months old. She sees an Eye Specialist normally. At her last appointment he mentioned surgery if it didn’t fix itself by her next appointment. Well her next appointment is next week. I am wondering if the surgery is gonna work. I have read several patients have to have 3 or 4 surgeries and the problem still doesn’t go away. My daughter is so young and I don’t want her to go through all of that if it is not going to work. Has anyone else had the surgery and has it worked?

I have impaired vision and i’m looking for someone to talk to that has the same problem it is called stargarths and it can’t be fixed, my night vision is really messed up and it is very impossible for me to see far away, i can’t even see peoples faces that are standig 7-10 feet in front of me, it’s really bad and i want to know what i can do or who i can see to fix it.

What causes someone that has Lasik eye surgery to lose their eyesight again? Like their eyesight deteriorates as time progresses…and then they’re blind again? Why? What the explanation behind this?

My doctor gave me lubricating eye drops to take for a week before lasik because my right eye was a little dry. Now I’m worried if weather of not I should get lasik because of this. Throughout my life it never felt like my eyes are dry and I never use eye drops. Would u till get Lasik?

I want to improve they way I see dramatically . I’ve been wearing contacts for a very long time and my eyes are starting to suffer for it. Its just irritating to be poking my eyes day in and day out. I really want to do lasik and improve my vision without contacts or glasses. So if anybody out there can help me I would really appreciate it

I have wanted to get eye surgery. I am over 21, my eyes were well my entire life, and when I was like 11, I needed glasses. I have wanted eye surgery then. I always held myself back because I thought that they might remove my eyes, just randomly poke it and do painful stuff. I heard that one of the surgeries involve a knife.

I am doing a project on LASIK eye surgery for NHD (National History Day) and need some help with some ideas about how LASIK has changed society for the better. One example I thought of was that it allows those who had less than amazing eye sight to not have to use wreck specs or contacts while participating in sports and such. = / need help asap. please.
