I am doing a project on LASIK eye surgery for NHD (National History Day) and need some help with some ideas about how LASIK has changed society for the better. One example I thought of was that it allows those who had less than amazing eye sight to not have to use wreck specs or contacts while participating in sports and such. = / need help asap. please.

My eye sight is getting worse every year and its to the point where im thinking that at some point in my life i might end up needing laser eye surgery just so i dont go blind when im 40! My problem is i hate it when things get near my eyes… you see i cant where contacts and its a pain to get drops in my eyes but im starting to think im going to have to get laser eye surgery… So what happens in laser eye surgery?

Thats what someone told me that happened. How long does your eyes stay sensitive to light until you are back to normal again..just with better eye sight.

My husband is thinking of doing this procedure, but he’s also heard of some weird side effects such as shadow figures at night and glared vision at night. How do you feel about this surgery? I just saw a commercial about SafeLasik.com and was curious about it. It doesn’t look like there’s much involved in correcting eye sight. Meaning, it looks like a pretty simple procedure and pain free.
