Thee Joeyy asked: I’m 15 and my eye sight is -6.00 on both eyes, and I’m planning on getting Laser Eye Surgery when I’m old enough. I asked my aunts boyfriend about it and he said it didn’t hurt. What I’m worried about is what does it feel like having that clamp holding your eyes opened. And are you able to see anything during the process? I don’t want to see what the doctor is doing because I’m sure it’ll scare me.
Can anyone also tell me the after effects you felt after the surgery?

Zoe asked: I really want corrective eye surgery(glasses my whole life, contacts never worked, etc.), but I’m afraid my eyes are still growing. (I guess a side question would be, when do eyes stop growing?) What age is a good age for corrective eye surgery? I’ve heard various things, like right after puberty to age 24. Please give a straight, informed answer, not the first result in a search. I really appreciate any help! Thank you!

NINJALICIOUS asked: My aunt has melanoma of the eye and tomorrow shes going in to get the laser surgery done.
How long does it take and the recovery?
Will she be able to go home that same day? Or stay over a night?

Sarah asked: I have had a eye problem as long as I can remember. At night when there is little to no light I see random splashes of colour and shapes that move and mold into one another. If I close my eyes the images stay the same. It does not bother me to much, but I just wish I knew what caused it. Any ideas would be nice since all the research I have done has turned up nothing.

[: asked: Well, I wanted blue contacts .
Not that I have a problem with my current eye color, it’s just that I want to experience new things you know ?
.. I want a new look after spring break.
So, is it able to get colored contacts even though you have great vision? And would you have to get a doctor recommendation?
Thanks.

miabeth1217 asked: My cat’s eye has become severely irritated several times in the past and has rectified itself within a couple days. However, this time, his eye is very red and seems to be out of focus. Above his eye appears to be swollen. He is acting sleepy but restless. He just keeps trying to clean the eye. It seems like he might have a problem with one of his eyelids. Help!

Jasmine asked: For Halloween (I know it is a long time away but I really want to know now) I am going to be dressing up as a vampire from the Twilight Saga, so I might wear red contacts, but I have had an unknown eye problem for 5 or 6 years and have been to the hospital several times, anyway, it could be an allergy or something but I am not sure. Could I still wear contact lenses? Help please, thanks!
Thanks so much for your answers!
