mattj asked: Alright well yesterday the top of my left eye was hurting. It was like the top part that is inside the socket. I thought it was just some random thing and didn’t worry about it. Then earlier today it happened again with my right eye. And while my right eye was hurting, I had blurry vision and a small black spot on my left eye. All of these problems also brought up headaches.
I would say they (yesterday and today) both happened for like 1 1/2-2 hours.
Any help on what this might be?

Rene asked: i think i have something called floaters, its an eye problem where i see a very small black dot everywhere. Iv’e been reading about it and im planning on going to see my optometrist, but while im sitting here on yahoo answers i’d like to know if anyone has this condition or knows anything about it; like treatment or prognosis. thanx!
i never knew it was that common lol, no it doesnt hurt at all and i only notice when i focus on it…i just wanted some more info thats all. has anyone ever seen an optometrist for it? thanx for your responses
frenchtraveler thanx for your great answer. im almost positive they’re floaters though because like you said as well…this dot follows gravity most of the time and it does “float”.

Dragon asked: What changes in your life do you have to make after getting Lasik?
I wanna know what changes in your life schedule you have to make as a result of lasik eye surgery
Such as, for example, having to put eye drops in your eyes every hour or so, and having to see your eye surgeon regularly for the first 6 months after surgery.

Amber asked: My daughter is two. She has had a lazy eye since around 6 months old. She sees an Eye Specialist normally. At her last appointment he mentioned surgery if it didn’t fix itself by her next appointment. Well her next appointment is next week. I am wondering if the surgery is gonna work. I have read several patients have to have 3 or 4 surgeries and the problem still doesn’t go away. My daughter is so young and I don’t want her to go through all of that if it is not going to work. Has anyone else had the surgery and has it worked?

turtlesarecool asked: When I mean eye correcting surgery, I’m talking about things like laser eye surgery that fix your vision. I mean, I think laser eye surgery works by slicing tiny pieces of the cornea in order to change the shape of the lens into a shape that correctly reflects the light. But how would the surgeon know how much to cut off? Also, if your eyes can degrade to the point at which you become legally blind, then how come legally blind people don’t get vision correcting surgery?

bon asked: I want to have laser eye surgery, but i found out from a friend that you could have a layer of your eye tear away and you’ll be left with nothing but excruciatingly blurry vision. Is this true? I was planning on joining the Marine Corps without glasses or contacts. If there are any other side effects please don’t forget to mention them, thank you!
