Many people who had this done also also suffer from dry eyes. I used to know someone who had to carry around a bottle of eye drops and use it every few minutes or so to relieve this problem. Personally, I'm not considering it. I'm 50 years old and would need reading glasses if I got it done. I would only be trading one problem for another and never be completely free of glasses. He is diabetic as well. I am hoping to do it myself this year. Some places guarantee it, like the one we used. The first few days your eyes will continue improving. He now can see at distances fine, although he has a harder time reading, but he bought some OTC reading glasses for that at the dollar store.
