Lasik not good idea for people with big pupils?
litlebooks asked:
I have really big pupils (the doctor never has to dilate them) and I believe I read somewhere that people with large pupils aren’t necessarily good candidates for Lasik. Is this true?

There are more options available for treating patients with larger pupils as the ablation (treatment) zones are getting larger. However, you are correct that halos after surgery are more of a concern with large diameter pupils.
The amount of correction required, corneal thickness, pupil size, and laser type are all factors that must be considered to determine if you are an acceptable candidate for treatment. xbone
