Laser Eye Surgery and being a Pilot in the RAAF?

I don’t have 20/20 vision and it is worse than 6/12 (the worst you can have to be a pilot in the RAAF) but if I were to get laser eye surgery to correct my vision would they let me in.
I know I would also need to pass all the tests and evaluations as well, but just so I know if it’s worth trying.

If there aren’t complications, after the laser eye surgery you’ll have 20/20 vision. So don’t worry, they’ll let you in.
