Is there laser eye surgery available for chronic myopic astigmatism?

eye surgery
popelane24 asked:

I was diagnosed with this a while back and have a health spending account with my current job. I would like to hear some treatment options; I hope there is an eye specialist on here!

Thanks!

LASIK can be a possibility depending on the severity of your myopic astigmatism. Most latest greatest lasers can treat fairly high Rx’s. Do you know what your Rx is?

Yes….up to a certain prescription though. I would make a consultation, 99% of the time a consultation is free. If your not a candidate for regular lasik or customvue, there is another option. I can’t remember what it was called though. Call your local lasik place and ask them questions…that’s what they are there– to help you. :) I would suggest going to a lasik specialist rather than the companies that are giant chains all over.

1.You need to scan your eyes to establish your status of your corneal thickness

2.Is the power of your eyes stable.

3.If lasik is not suitable - lens implant may be.
