Is there anyway to get rid off a Lazy eye without surgery?

eye surgery
Crouchin Tiger, Hidden Rabbit asked:

Well i have got a lazy eye and in pictures it just makes me look silly, because like one eye is half open and the other is half closed-sounds vain but i’ve had this for like my whole life. Basically i want to get rid of it but i know one way is through surgery and i’m not that desparate. Help please. Also if you have a lazy eye long enough can you go blind in that eye?

You cant go blind but it can damage your vision, my dad had a lazy eye and there was nothing that could be done but surgery, and it can be done in a day and you cant see the scars so dont worry, plus you cant look that daft so please dont overreact :-) Kelly

My friend once had a lazy eye and the doctor made them wear a patch over the good eye so that the lazy eye has to do all the work.

    Try it! Egg

I don’t know but if someone suggests letting them smack you up side the head don’t do it! I did that to an ex…it didn’t work. Reverend G

Check with a doctor, because it depends on what is causing it. I have also heard of the ‘put a patch over the good eye to make the bad eye work better’ method too. wayfaroutthere
