If you cheap out there is a higher chance of a poor outcome. I know people who have gotten discount lasik in mills for $499 per eye and many still need glasses and their eyes ache too. If you don't know the risks of lasik, you are sooooooo NOT ready to get lasik! Almost 200 things can go wrong and I know hundreds of people with a bad lasik experience. Please do your research first! It was about 4000 dollars none of which would be covered by insurance. My doctor said it would be 9 5% accurate. I know people who cross the border just for the procedure. They figure around $400 there. In America it's a grand or two if you're lucky.
