You need to be 18, and your RX also needs to be stablized for a prolonged preiod of time before a doctor would consider it. There would be no reason to do such a drastic procedure if you're eyes are likely to change.

Good luck! : )

i think you have to be at least 21 so that your eyes are fully developed and there will be less chance of danger. if you really want better eye vision and you are under 18, then there is a kind of hard rpg contact lens that you wear at night to make you see better. i am 13 and i wear those lens at night everyday and take them out every morniong when i wake up. that will let you have a perfect vision during the day so you don't have to wear glasses and it can correct your vision.

no dr will even consider giving you laser eye surgery until you are at least 18+ and most will rather wait until you are 21+ to be sure that your eyes are fully developed. if your vision is still getting worse you are definitely not stable enough to get laser eye surgery anyways.

the price can vary dramatically depending on what dr you go to. i hear commercials all the time for a great sale of the surgery STARTING AT $1,000 PER EYE.

until your eyes have fully developed and have stabilized just use glasses or contacts.

Some Doctors bend the rules more than other -

Generally you have to wait until your eyes are stable for at least a year maybe more

if your eyes are always getting worse and worse they usually dont want to do the surgery and risk your eye sight not being permenent after its completed

generally most peoples eyes stabilized after your 18 to 21 ish.......depends on person - some dont stabilize until your 25+

it usually costs about 5k total sometimes more - cheap places may do it for less but theres usually alot of conditions to get cheap specials
