The Benefit is that 1) You can get it before you are old enough for LASIK and 2) You can have it done more than once should your eyesite get bad again. and 3) I don't know if they still offer this, but if my eyes EVER get bad again I can have it fixed for free as long as I get yearly checkups. That is good for the rest of my life. Also I had no side effects once the pain went away. It was worth every penny and pain. I went from 20/600 to 20/10. So now I have better vision than most people who have "perfect" eyesite. I got it at 18, though usually you can’t get it that young. It cost about $3k.
