How much does entropria eye surgery for cats cost?

eye surgery
curious cat asked:

My Persian cat needs eye surgery called Entropria and I would like to find out how expensive the procedure is and if the procedure needs to be done again or once is all.
I got one quote for $1200 for the procedure.

I got a kitten last summer who was born without eyelids. The vet thought she had probably had an infection in utero which ate them away. She had cyrosurgery to remove the hairs along the tops of her eyes so her eyeballs wouldn’t get scratched. The surgery was around $800 and money spent for diagnosis, etc. I got a discount as she was a rescue shelter kitten.

I think the surgery to correct the genetic condition of entropion is around $1200 from a veterinary eye specialist. The condition can occur in both cats and dogs. (And I guess from the other response in bunnies too!).
