There are different types of surgery, my vet opted to remove the gland as he said that if you should push it back in the problem was likely to reoccur. Forget the one who gave you the higher price. Like I said we just had one done and it was only abt $70. Not sure exactly. She got a rabies shot and some eye ointment and the total bill was $79.
