For an eyelid muscle, I don't think it'll be too long of a healing time. If she's having any actual EYE surgery, such as a vitrectomy, cataract removal, or corneal transplant, that takes longer. I've had all three - I'm out of any sports for a year, but other than that I'm back to my normal self (except for the whole partial blindness thing).
