Also what are other forms of correcting vision besides eye surgery & simply getting glasses/contact lens?

nope you just have to keep your eye open unless you want your eyelid burned off.

one dead end in optical correction of vision is lasik surgery and you do not need glasses if every thing goes well

You must be awake to have laser vision correction. The surgeon needs you to fixate on a light and you cannot do that if you are asleep. The surgeon will put a speculum in the eye to keep it open so no need to worry about that. The idiot that said you need to worry is just dumb. The laser that they use would not burn you even if it did hit the eyelid. It is not a burning laser. The only true ways to correct vision are surgery, glasses or contact lenses. No eye exercises will correct your vision.

i had lasik done and i wore glasses for years and tell you what i will never go back unless i have to. i recommend lasik surgery. you go in for an eye exam, then you pick a day for surgery go in 5min per each eye put on protective glasses go home and sleep for eight hours take it easy for the rest of the day. and i saw results right after. best thing i ever did.
