If you get a Lasik surgery and you need to wear glasses again after a few years, can you wear contacts?
I know Lasik is supposed to give you 20/20 but I heard some people had to wear glasses again after a few years. probably because their vision at the time of Lasik wasn’t stable.

Hey. 5 years ago, i noticed i was having trouble reading the board in the classroom. Over the last few years, my eyes have got worse and worse, and while my glasses are fantastic, they were supposed to be temp and i now need to wear them all the time. Having them on and off is causing headaches, especially since i work at a comp desk, and i need to lean in really close to be able to even see the comp screen! For those that have had laser surgery (i have mild short sight, meaning reading is NO problem but street signs are near impossible) how much did it cost, is there only one session, how is your eye sight now…? ANY info, this will be a huge thing for me as i’ll need to save for it and it better be worth it! :o)

I’ve been back to the optician a few times with my new spectacles, and still can’t see the small print on jars etc. They are fine when using them with my computer screen, but a bit blurry when reading. The optician said she gave me this type of lens so that my eyes wouldn’t become too lazy - the top being for the computer and the bottom for reading. The problem is I get impatient if I can’t read the small print, and now have started to reach for the pair I bought in the chemist as a size 2 works perfectly. My right eye is a little short sighted, and both eyes have astigmatisms. Should I have surgery?

I have lasik’ed my eyes about a month ago, but still, my right eye sees things in double, in a way that each thing (far or near) has a slight shadow to its right side). as the distance grows, so does the distance between the thing and its shadow. Is this condition temporary or constant? why has it happened (as it wasn’t like this at the beginning) and does it require special concern or treatment?

However, I’ve been hearing that it doesn’t make sense since your eye sight at that age is still yet to worsen.
