Can you wear contacts after you get LASIK surgery?
Test asked:
If you get a Lasik surgery and you need to wear glasses again after a few years, can you wear contacts?
I know Lasik is supposed to give you 20/20 but I heard some people had to wear glasses again after a few years. probably because their vision at the time of Lasik wasn’t stable.

You shouldn’t need contacts after Lasik; unless you just want them in for the colors. That type of surgery actally corrects the vision. lightbulblady1

if your eyes change and you start having less then 20/20 vision then alot of places will touch your eyes up for free if you did the initial operation with them. phdpsychman

The answer to your question is Yes you can wear contact lens after LASIK. In reality LASIK is a great procedure in which you should be able to acheive your target refraction.
If your refraction should require an enhancement/retreatment to fine tune your refraction this can be done up to 1 year after your intial procedure.
Let me know if you have any more questions. Good Luck C-Ray
