if your vision isn’t too bad…. like an astigmatism it can be fixed.
mine has crossed the fine line of astigmatism where I can no longer get it done as you all do. If i want my eyes fixed I have to have my cornea removed to surgically fix it and replace it. I doubt I want to go that direction. and yes you can be twilighted while it occurs.

99.9% of people that have things close to there eyes instinctively close them, even contact wearers. Therefore you hold the eye open then put them in [contracts], you’ll get used to them after putting them in and out a few times but you must hold your eye open, otherwise your eye will close.

Second, LASIK is done with eye drops that numb your eyes then they clamp your eyes open so you can’t close them. I don’t recommend you getting LASIK at the moment, you need to do much more research before even considering LASIK, considering you don’t even know how they keep your eyes open during the procedure. I’m not saying the surgery is bad, I’m saying you need more information, facts, and risk before you have LASIK so you aren’t so naive about it.

No, the whole procedure takes less than 2 minutes, and your eye is clamped open, so you can’t blink.

Most people are squeamish about that, but they have all the bases covered.

They give you a valium or something before the treatment anyway, so you won’t even care what they are doing…and it’s over before you know it.
