The second post is more accurate than the first post for sure.
It is NOT uncommon to obtain 20/15 or even 20/10 vision from Lasik.
That said, it is likely, depending on your age, and other factors, whether your vision will remain that that level. Some procedures result in perfect vision and then slowly revert to a level slightly at or above 20/20. In most cases, though, it seems that patients that have the procedure are happy, with the main complaint being "dry-eye"

Yes many people that have had LASIK see 20/15 a few see 20/10. You need to ask about custom LASIK. Your eye has aberrations besides the sphere and cylinder that we correct with glasses and contacts. Custom LASIK addresses these aberrations. On every laser eye procedure, the surgeon is going to attempt to give you the best vision possible. This has more to do with accuracy than over correction as one of the other posters seems to think.

I suppose it is theoretically possible, but you're never going to find a doctor who is willing to do it. The surgery actually "shaves" off a portion of your cornea, and any decent doctor is going to insist on taking off the minimum amount required to obtain good vision.
