  1. Alfredo Garcia Says:

It is highly unlikely. LASIK involves reshaping the inside of your cornea with a laser or a blade. Your cornea does not have a blood supply, so it does not really heal well. It is lubricated when you blink and close your eyes, but it is highly unlikely that it will regenerate to a degree that will undo the corneal reshaping of the LASIK procedure.

In theory, if you needed LASIK again, I’m sure they’d charge you again. However, I’ve never heard of anyone needing LASIK twice. Alfredo Garcia

yes, it happened to my mom like 5 years after she had the procedure, same as how your eyes get worse and you need new prescriptions yearly, she didn’t have the procedure repeated because yes you have to pay again meli

Unlikely, but a good surgeon will tell you if ypu stand the cahnce of it happening, and a good surgeon would probably not perform the surgery in the first place. I saw a lady last week who had LASIK in India, and she was actually worse than when she started.
Surgeons have different fee schedules, some cover he proceudre for up to a year, others for a shorter period of time. Stef

oh really Alfredo Garcia then how do you explain this.;_ylv=3?qid=20081105164121AAqkPqK&show=7#profile-info-5TXLHzq1aa

stop stealing candy from kid’s and tell people the truth,

people who have taken LASIK eye surgery, will know to take care of their eye, because a second LASIK eye surgery is not really possible,

cornea removal does not fix the real problem, nor does it change the shape of the eyeball,
hey it accepted the eyeball en long with shortsighted people, cornea removal does not fix that problem,

so does not that elongated eyeball remains???????? cornea makes up a total of 80% of refraction but removing it does not fix the real problem

people who done LASIK eye surgery will get extreme farsighted which they don’t want people to know that too, people who done LASIK eye surgery is stuck for them to make money from you,

study a bit more on it

    here’s the websites -
or if you want to spend money use eyerelax, eyepower from japan, eye exercise device from china or accommotrac - -

    best of luck Pete H

Yes, it is. I’ve known people who had to start wearing glasses again a few years after getting this procedure done. As for being charged a second time, I don’t know about that but I assume you will be. RoVale

One of the fairly minor after effects you may experience with LASIK eye surgery is dry eye. If your eyes start to itch, you’re probably experiencing dry eye. You can relieve dry eye by using artificial tears. Right after surgery you doctor will probably tell you to use these artificial tear drops every 15 minutes for the first four hours and then as often as needed. In some cases, dry eye may persist for 3 to 6 months.

Although you can expect a sudden improvement immediately after LASIK eye surgery, you will also notice that your vision will continue to further improve over time. It can actually take up to six months for your new vision to reach its full potential.

In almost all cases, undesirable after effects are minimized with LASIK eye surgery. Follow your doctor’s instructions and you’ll be fast on the road to problem free recovery. Carson D
