MaseyGrace 6/28/08 asked: I am having the “bladeless” lasik done in two weeks. They will use little bubbles to lift and create the flap on my eye to do the lasik instead of using the blade. Has anyone had this done? What was it like for you? How did you feel afterwards? Would you recommend it? My vision is 20/400 in both eyes, so I am looking forward to it, but nervous at the same time. Any opinions?

ELAINE C asked: I had Lasik 8 years ago…I was farsighted (not the norm) and they had just perfected the Lasik procedure for this type of vision. I had 20/10 vision afterwards, but at this point, I’m back to square one.

calimike2001 asked: I had Lasik about two days ago. At first it was hard to open my eyes, but now I can see out of it. Although my vision has improved in the eye, it looks like Im in a room filled with smoke. Everything seems clear, but very hazy. They said my vision was supposed to be good in 48 hours, and its been that long. Does this go away, because maybe I was better with contacts. Did I screw myself?

mimi asked: I’m about to apply online, but I’m wondering what if I chicken out and decide not to get Lasik. Will I be able to cancel the card? I would call them but I think its too late right now, and I want to know. Also, do you have to have good credit to be approved?

Crouchin Tiger, Hidden Rabbit asked: Well i have got a lazy eye and in pictures it just makes me look silly, because like one eye is half open and the other is half closed-sounds vain but i’ve had this for like my whole life. Basically i want to get rid of it but i know one way is through surgery and i’m not that desparate. Help please. Also if you have a lazy eye long enough can you go blind in that eye?

frenchy asked: I have always wanted to serve as an officer in the Irish army. My eyesight is poor, well below the necessary requirements. I had never really considered this a major problem, since I could always have laser eye surgery. Recently however, I discovered that the catetships are closed to people who have had laser eye surgery done.
Any ideas why?
And might it be lifted in the next 10 yearsor so?
