Julia H asked:

I had a brown spot on the white of my eye, it resembled a freckle. I had it removed for cosmetic reasons. It’s been 2 months following the surgery, and the redness in my eye has faded significantly. However, there appears to be blood vessels running through my eye. Will these vessels ever settle down? How long could it take?

Thanks in advance to anyone who responds!
Also, just to clarify, the blood vessels popped up as a result of the surgery.

Anyone know how I can find the best ophthalmologist for eye surgery in CT or NYC?

Is there ever an instance where contact lenses or glasses will not work for a vision problem and therefore the only solution is surgery.

Obviously not including blindness…

Shorty asked:

I have hard contact lenses which I wear everyday, and have been doing so for the last 5/6 years, and I am considering gettting laser eye surgery. I know I would have to stop wearing my contacts for a few weeks before even going for a consultation but I can’t remember the exact time can anyone tell me how many weeks it is?

Also is it possible to wear soft contact lenses for a certain amount of weeks and then my glasses and then get the consultation done?

Peter asked:

I have heard people say laser eye surgery is a very effective method to cure eyes. I had a nearsightedness and a slight astigmatism (eye disorder). All were caused naturally (due to over-studying, and over-playing games, I admit). Can I have a laser eye surgery that can effectively cure my eyes and make them normal again?
Thank you.
