I really want to send him something, like a get well package, just a card and maybe a homemade book or something. Also I was wondering how long it take to recover from this type of surgery? Is there something else I could send him that would be better to give him other than a book? Maybe bake and send cookies or muffins? I want it to be something my kids and I can make together for him.
